Six For Sunday: Books That Made You Cry

Happy Sunday, Book Dragons!

Its time for Six For Sunday, its been a couple of weeks since I joined in. I’ve found blogging quite hard recently so stepped back for a little while. Six For Sunday is a weekly prompt created by ALittleButAlot, go check out their blog! This week’s prompt is ‘Books That Made You Cry’ – an easy prompt for me as I’m always crying over books. Some books featured in this post are gifted by publishers, these are clearly marked.

Happy reading!

A Court of Thorns and Roses series by Sarah J Maas:

I’m cheating here because this is five books in one. I have cried reading all of them for different reasons and couldn’t pick just one of them to use for this.

Crooked Kingdom by Leigh Bardugo:

Just thinking about that scene makes me cry, this book ruined me.

Show Us Who You Are by Elle McNicoll: (Gifted)

This is another one that made me cry for different reasons. I won’t go into detail as my review will go up next week for the blog tour. I highly recommend giving this a read!

Clockwork Princess by Cassandra Clare:

Anyone who has read this will know why it made me cry, I will never be over it.

Cinderella is Dead by Kalynn Bayron: (Gifted)

This one I cried because I loved it so much, and for a spoilery reason I won’t mention here. I rarely cry because I love a book so much, Cinderella is Dead is everything and was one of my favourite books of 2020!

Grief Angels by David Owen:

You didn’t think I’d write a list and not include David Owen, did you??

This one is so incredible I cried through 99% of it. Everything about Grief Angels blew my mind. Its a must read, make sure you have tissues at the ready.

Have you read any of these, what books are on your list?
