Blogmas Day 9: Book Tag – Dreamy Covers tag

Happy Wednesday, Book Dragons!

I was tagged by DellyBird to take on the Dreamy Covers Book Tag awhile ago and I’m finally posting it. I held off so I could take a proper photo of one of the books but haven’t been able to find it. I’m leaving this as an open tag for anyone who would like to do it.

Happy reading!

RULES:

  • Thank the person who tagged you, spread the love!
  • Link to the creator @The book raven
  • Use the original tag image in your post
  • Tag at least 1 other blogger for this tag!

No idea but in things: A book cover that perfectly expresses the novel inside of it:

Oooooh, definitely The Ship of Shadows by Maria Kuznair without a doubt! I think the cover for the book matches the plot perfectly, and it’s such a beautiful cover, too!

Sugary sweet: A cover that is so sweet you want to give it a hug:

Definitely P.S I Still Love You by Jenny Han. I love both the original and the movie tie in editions so definitely this one.

The simple aesthetic: A book that stuns with the most minimalistic of designs:

I love the simplicity of this one, The Eve Illusion is a perfect example of ‘less is more’ – it’s such a beautiful cover!

Cover envy: A book cover you wish you had on your shelf but you don’t:

The Devil and the Dark Water by Stuart Turton. I just love the cover! I recently won a giveaway so this will soon be on my shelf. Is this cheating?

Travelling Abroad; A book cover that features a country outside of your own:

The Grateful Boys by Françoise DuMaurier, I really enjoyed this one to!

Colour wheel: A book that showcases one of your favourite colours:

To Sleep in a Sea of Stars by Christopher Paolini! Black and blue are my favourite colours and I love the colour scheme and how well the colours go together.

Switching gears: A cover change you absolutely adore:

You know what? I don’t think I have one.

‘Oldie but Goodie’: A favorite cover of your favorite classic:

I’m not really a huge reader of the classics, I’ve only read a handful.

I do love the cover of my copy of Dracula though. I love the simplicity of it.

And the winner is: Which cover above is your favourite?

To Sleep in a Sea of Stars. It’s just so beautiful, I love how elegant it is.
