Blogmas Day 1: Christmas TBR

It’s chriiiiiistmas!!

Blogmas is finally here! First up is my Christmas TBR, I love putting together my December TBR, choosing as many Christmas related books as I possibly can to get me in the Christmas spirit. I think it’s a little ambitious but we’ll see how we go!

Happy reading!

The Christmasaurus by Tom Fletcher, Illustrated by Shane Devries:

I read this one every year. The Christmasaurus is one of my absolute favourite Christmas books and is always a highlight every December.

The Christmasaurus and the Winter Witch by Tom Fletcher, Illustrated by Shane Devries:

It would be wrong not to read the sequel, right? I can’t believe it’s only been a year since it came out, I can’t wait to read it again!

Last Christmas – curated by by Emma Thompson & Greg Wise:

I picked this up last year at the Waterstones Christmas evening last year where Emma and Greg were signing copies and didn’t get round to reading it. I’m definitely going to be rectifying and reading it this month.

Geek Girl: All Wrapped up by Holly Smale:

This is another one I read every year. I love Harriet and her festive spirit. This one never fails to make me happy and feel all festive. I definitely recommend giving this a read!

A Boy Called Christmas, The Girl Who Saved Christmas & Father Christmas and Me by Matt Haig:

I’ve only read A Boy Called Christmas and I absolutely loved it so I’m really looking forward to rereading it before moving onto the others.

These Violent Delights by Chloe Gong (gifted):

I’m so ridiculously excited to finally start this one, it’s been on my pile for a month! It sounds amazing and everything I love in a book. Keep an eye out for my review!

The Last Girl by Goldy Moldavsky (gifted):

This one was a lovely and perfect surprise. I always read a thriller on Christmas Eve, I have no idea how that started but it’s stuck. I’ll be saving this one for then, though my review won’t go up till nearer publication.

The Burning Girls by C.J. Tudor (gifted):

There’s absolutely no way I’m waiting any longer to read The Burning Girls! I’ve been desperate to read this since it arrived on my doorstep and I am very, very excited! I have a good feeling about this one.

The Last Bear by Hannah Gold:

As soon as I heard about The Last Bear I knew I had to read it. I was lucky to be gifted a surprise ARC, I’m so excited I’m adding it straight to this months pile. My review will go up nearer to publication though.

See you tomorrow!

  1. Almost Christmas time! They all look pretty good. I love Matt Haig ones, I read them last year and they are so goood to read over Christmas. I really want to read These Violent Delights and since we have the same taste, I’m very curious to see what you think 😘

  2. Oh wow, I don’t know any of these! But I do agree, it would be bad to not read the sequal to your favorite right away. Eleven books might be a teeny tiny bit ambitious, but… if you have a couple of days of to only stick to reading instead of your daily reading sessions you might manage to! I’m curious to see if you do. 🙂
