Hello Book Dragons!
How is everyone today? I thought I’d post a book tag today as I haven’t done one in awhile. I found this tag over at readinginthewings and decided it would be a fun tag to do. The tag was created by Princess of Paperback. Feel free to join in yourself.
Laying in Bed- Book You Could/Have Read in a Day:
A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J Maas, I couldn’t out it down and ended up finishing it within 24 hours. I did exactly the same with A Court of Wings and Ruin, too!
Snacking- A Guilty Pleasure Book:
I honestly don’t have one. If I love a book, I love it and never feel guilty for it.
Netflix- Series You Want to Start:
The Witcher, I’ve been desperate to read it before watching the Netflix series. I have the first book so will no doubt be starting it soon.
Deep Clean- Been On Your TBR for Ages:
The Hate U Give by Angie Thomas. I bought it when it first came out, it’s still there because it’s at the bottom of a massive mountain of books. I’m in the process of boxing books up, it’ll go straight to the top of my TBR when I find it.
Animal Crossing- A Book You Recently Bought Because of Hype:
Wilder Girls by Rory Power, so many bloggers and booktubers raved about it I ended up buying a copy after a book signing I went to. I’m not sure I’ll read it any time soon after finding out a little more about it.
Productivity – Book You Learned from or Had an Impact on You:
The Places I’ve Cried in Public by Holly Bourne. I took so much away from this book, learned a lot of important lessons from it, too.
Facetime – A Book You Were Gifted:
Sleeping Beauties by Stephen and Owen King. My mum bought this one for me and even made sure I got my first choice of hidden covers, the fox. She later bought me the Tesco exclusive paperback edition, actually I think the majority of my Stephen King collection was gifted by my mum.
Self Care – What is One Thing You Have Done Recently to Look After Yourself:
I took a break from blogging for a couple of weeks and read a bunch of bought and gifted books that have been on my TBR for ages. This might seem like an odd answer, blogging was starting to become something I slowly hated so the step back definitely counts as self care in my case.
BONUS – Name a Book Coming Out Soon:
Good Girls Die First by Kathryn Foxfield. This one comes out in July, unless anything changes and I have a feeling it’s going to be a brilliant one!
I’m leaving this as an open tag for anyone who wants to do it.
