Happy Tuesday Book Dragons!
How is everyone? I haven’t done a book tag in awhile and thought it would be fun to do one this week. I found The Ultimate Book Tag over on thebibliophilegirluk‘s blog, I don’t know who created this tag, if anyone does let me know so I can credit them. Let’s move into the questions.
Happy reading!
Do You Get Sick While Reading In The Car?
I honestly couldn’t tell you, music is always turned on in the car and I can’t read with music playing. I can read on the bus so I’d probably be okay reading in a car.
Which Author’s Writing Style Is Completely Unique To You And Why?
Probably Bram Stoker’s. I rarely read books told using letters, newspaper articles etc. I usually find them choppy and can’t find the flow.
Harry Potter or Twilight? Give 3 Reasons Why.
Harry Potter:
- Philosopher’s Stone was the book that kick started my love of reading.
- Nifflers!
- The Prisoner of Azkaban!
Do You Carry A Book Bag? If So, What’s In It (Besides Books)?
I don’t know what a book bag is. In my everyday bag, I usually carry purse, keys, phone, hand gel, chocolate and a bunch of receipts. Nothing that interesting.
Do You Smell Your Books?
Doesn’t everyone? I love the smell of books!
Books With or Without Illustrations?
Both, I don’t have a preference.
What Book Did You Love While Reading, But Discovered Later It Wasn’t Quality Writing?
Twilight. I loved it the first time I read the series, I tried rereading it last year and DNF’d the first book.
Do You Have Any Funny Stories Involving Books From Your Childhood?
Not that I can remember, I have a couple of bad ones though.
What Is The Thinnest Book On Your Shelf?
The Dinosaur That Pooped A Lot by Tom Fletcher and Dougie Poynter, I believe it’s 16 pages.
What Is the Thickest Book On Your Shelf?
I think it’s the film tie in edition of Les Misérables, at 1232 pages.
Do You Write As Well As Read? Do You See Yourself Being An Author In the Future?
not outside of blogging, I much prefer to read other people’s work than write my own.
When Did You Get Into Reading?
When I was 10/11 and My sister put Harry Potter into my hands.
What Is Your Favorite Classic Book?
Bram Stoker’s Dracula.
What Was Your Best Subject In School?
I was never any good at school, hated it too. I was much better at college and My best subject there was probably Animal Biology and Animal Health and Welfare. I got straight distinctions in both units.
If You Were Given A Book As A Present That You Read Before And Hated, What Would You Do?
I would be honest, maybe not about the hating it. I’d be honest about having it though. The fact that they bought a book that I read shows they know me well enough to know what I like. I’m sent and buy so many books I struggle to keep up so can definitely appreciate it’s harder for others. It rarely happens as I now have a list of books and the different editions I own so people can look at it if they want.
What Is A Lesser Known Series That You Know Of That Is Similar to Harry Potter or the Hunger Games?
I don’t, all the ones I can think of are also well known.
What Is A Bad Habit You Always Do (Besides Rambling) While Filming?
I don’t film anything, I prefer to stick with blogging.
What Is Your Favorite Word?
Bibliophilia! Predictable, I know.
Are You A Nerd, Dork, or Dweeb?
I wouldn’t say I’m any of them tbh.
Vampires of Fairies? Why?
Do I have to choose? I really love both!
Shapeshifters or Angels? Why?
Shapeshifters, always shapeshifters. Your options are endless with them.
Spirits or Werewolves? Why?
Werewolves anytime! I love how they’re tied to the moon.
Zombies or Vampires? Why?
I’m going with vampires, I love zombies, just not quite as much as vampires. I couldn’t tell you why.
Love Triangles or Forbidden Love?
Forbidden love, can’t get enough of it.
Full on Romance Books Or Action-Packed With A Few Love Scenes?
Action-packed but with a fair amount of romance, if that makes sense?
I Tag:
As usual I’m leaving this as an open tag.
OH for your HP or Twilight, I gotta say both for v similar reasons.
HP is one of the few books i remember reading when younger. but Twilight is ultimately the book that got me super back into reading
