Hello!
Wow, this was harder than I thought it would be and had to ask people for help, I was stumped after the first three listed below. I managed to successfully find six books to use for this week’s prompt. This week’s prompt is six books people associate with you, despite it being a challenging prompt I had so much fun! Six For Sunday is hosted by alittlebutalot, please go check out their awesome blog!
Happy reading!
1) IT by Stephen King:
Is anyone really surprised by this one?? Anyone who knows me, even just a little bit, will know how much I love IT and Pennywise so I’d be really surprised if people didn’t associate this book with me. I think it’s one I talk about alot, because we all float on this blog… I know, I’ll show myself out.
2) The Fallen Children by David Owen:
No list is complete without this book being mentioned. I rave about David Owen’s books and The Fallen Children, it’s one of my absolute favourite books and possibly the only book I have nine copies of. By now I think pretty much anyone and everyone associates this book with me.
3) Anything by Sarah J Maas (is this cheating?):
You definitely saw this one coming, right? I make no secret of my love of Sarah J Maas books, I love them all and regularly shout about them to anyone who will listen! I think I’m associated more with her books in general rather than just one specific book.
4) The Extinction Trials trilogy by S.M. Wilson:
Again, I think I’m associated more with the trilogy as a whole than one specific book (correct me if I’m wrong), so I couldn’t choose just one of them. A couple of people recently have said they always think of me when they see them so I thought these should definitely make it onto the list.
5) His Dark Materials by Philip Pullman:
I’ve adored these books since I was around thirteen, I think this one might only apply to people outside of the book/blogging community as I don’t get the chance to properly about about them much atm, I’m sure it still counts though.
6) The Christmasaurus by Tom Fletcher:
This was one of the first books a friend mentioned when I asked for help. I can’t believe I forgot this one, It’s such an obvious choice! It’s one of my favourite Christmas books, and one I push into people’s hands every Christmas. I listen to the CD all year round, too.
So that’s my six books this week, are there any books you associate with me that I haven’t included? Let me know in the comments!
