Blogmas Day 19: TBTBSanta Unboxing

Happy Thursday Book Dragons!

Less than a week to go, who else is excited for Christmas?

I had so much fun last year that I decided to take part in the annual the broke and the bookish secret santa again this year. My box arrived today so I thought it would be fun to do an unboxing post. My secret santa put so much thought and effort into my gifts, I cried while I was opening them. It’s the most on brand box of presents I’ve ever received. They put Christmas tree branches in the box for decoration and made the box look christmassy.

Some gifts had little hints on them which was a nice little extra touch, and added a lot of excitement, especially when one mentioned “christmaas”!

The first present I opened was Magic Stars, they’re one of my favourites and I opened a bag as soon as I finished taking photos, I couldn’t help myself. They were gone in minutes.

 

The next presents I opened were all Sarah J Maas themed and I adore all of them! One had an ACOTAR postcard with one of my favourite quotes on, bookmark, pin and Fantastic Beasts stickers and there’s a Niffler one! Another present was an ACOTAR enamel pin and the last one was a ToG pin. I can’t wait to add the pins to my pin flag!

 

I then opened the books, my santa chose Carrie by Stephen King and A Very Large Expanse of Sea by Tahereh Mafi. I’ve been eager to read these for ages and I’m looking forward to starting them asap!

The books were followed by a Stephen King bookmark (which I’ll make full use of when I read Carrie) and sticker and a pouch of caramel and sea salt chocolate buttons my santa described as ‘my idea of heaven’, I’m looking forward to trying them. I might actually try them now, okay, I can confirm they’re right. I’m not sure they’re going to be around for long now.

And last but not least, was a dragon keyring with my initial on it, dragons are my favourite mythical creatures and the keyring is perfect!

I adore everything and still can’t believe how lucky I am to have an epic secret santa, it really brightened my day. Thank you so much Emma for all my wonderful presents!
