Happy Sunday, book dragons!
Today I have something different, it’s taken me about five months to finish this post (You don’t want to see what my drafts is like). I’ve decided to share some of my favourite book quotes as this is something I don’t talk about often, and I love a good quote.
Happy reading!
“It’s easy to break an already broken heart” – Only Love Can Break Your Heart by Katherine Webber
This particular quote resonated with me when I first read it and stuck with me, as I’m sure it will to do many others. Only Love Can Break Your Heart is one of my all-time favourite books and highly recommend giving it a read!
“Do you ever stop being so serious and dull?”
“Do you ever stop being such a prick?” I snapped back.
Dead—really, truly, I should have been dead for that.
But Lucien grinned at me. “Much better.” – A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J Maas
Are you really surprised by this? It’s no secret how much I adore everything written by Sarah J Maas, so how could I not include one from her books? I love the friendship between Feyre and Lucien, this is one of many favourite moments from the book.
“You are a little heartless today, aren’t you?”
“Never,” I say. “There are seventeen under my bed.” – To Kill a Kingdom by Alexandra Christo
I love this one and couldn’t leave it off the list, Lira is one of my favourite characters, I can’t get enough of her sassiness and this part always makes me laugh.
“She had the knowledge from her mother, old knowledge. So long as you carried it in your head they couldn’t take it away, she used to say. Not like weapons, or food, or clothes.” – The Confessions of Frannie Langton by Sara Collins
One of my favourite 2019 reads and I can confidently say this won’t change. There are so many amazing quotes, it was hard to choose. This book is incredible, I highly recommend it!
”And the infinite captivates us because it allows us to believe all things are possible. That true love can last beyond time.” The Beautiful by
I just love this book! Everything about it is perfection and another 2019 favourite! You can read my review here, if you fancy reading it.
Do you have any favourite quotes? I’d love to know, feel free to share them in the comments
