Where has the month gone? I feel like it slipped away while I was recovering from YALC. Anyway, it’s been a quiet month but it’s just what I needed. I also took a much needed break from my blog and reading, so I don’t have much to include.
Voyager Con in Waterstones Piccadilly:
I went along to this event as I’ve heard nothing but good things about The Poppy War and City of Brass and wanted to hear them talk about their books. By the end of the event I had bought both to get signed and read.
What I read:
Sanctuary by V.V. James: ★★★★★
Twilight by Stephenie Meyer (audiobook): ★
There’s a Giraffe in my Bath by Louise Andrews: ★★★★
Dead Popular by Sue Wallman
What I’m reading:
IT by Stephen King
Tunnel of Bones by Victoria Schwab
The Confessions of Frannie Langton by Sara Collins (audiobook)
Contender: The Chosen by Taran Matharu
Sanctuary by V.V. James
There’s a Giraffe in my Bath by Louise Andrews
