Wrap-up: July highlights

Hello!

It’s been a quiet month for events and reading, I’ve spent most of July either in a reading slump or stressing about YALC so this is going to be shorter than normal. I do have some awesome news though, this can be found later in the post.

Events:

I went along to Forbidden Planet’s pre YALC event, this was the second one I had been to. This year Mary Watson, Eion Colfer, Dhonielle Clayton, John Tarrow, Kristen Ciccarelli, Kristina Perez and Sharon Dogar came along to sign books. I took a couple along to get signed and picked up a copy of Artemis Fowl, I’ve never read these books, I know! I’m shocked too.

This year’s was hosted at YALC on the Friday, I went along with my sister to support all the amazing bloggers and blogger friends. I was shortlisted in the Best Established category and won! I was shortlisted alongside some incredible bloggers who all deserved to win. I honestly can’t believe it, thank you so much to everyone who nominated and then voted for me. It means the world to me!
