Blogmas Day 11: What I’m Listening to

Today I’m sharing what I’m currently listening to, it’s not all christmassy or bookish. I don’t often get to talk about music and I love it so much so I decided to include it in Blogmas because, why not?

The Pretty Reckless – Just Tonight

I love a bit of The Pretty Reckless, this one is still my absolute favourite of their songs. I don’t talk about them enough, the video for this one is brilliant too! I highly recommend checking them out, Taylor Momsen’s voice is incredible and the riffs!

Marilyn Manson – S(Aint)

Can’t go wrong with a bit of Manson, he always makes the weirdest videos to go with them which I love! There’s something about this particular song I really love and haven’t been able to place why.

The Christmasaurus – The Christmasaurus

Sadly there isn’t a music video for this one, it’s my favourite from the soundtrack. I love Santa and the Christmasaurus having a boogie, it doesn’t matter how cheap I feel this always cheers me up. Yes, I do listen to it year round.

Cats – Mungojerrie and Rumpleteazer

I don’t know about you but I adore this musical, especially those pesky cat burglars. It’s an underrated classic, don’t get me wrong, I adore Memory, this doesn’t get the love it deserves though. I listen to it so often my family are sick of it.

Slipknot – Snuff

Snuff will always (without fail) make me cry, you can feel everything like it’s actually happening to you. It’s also not often the Knot come out with a ballad, when they do you know it’ll be a belter! They will forever be one of my favourite bands.

The Greatest Showman – The Greatest Show

Do I really need to explain this one? There’s no denying what a brilliant song this is. It’s another that will instantly lift even the crappiest of moods and who doesn’t want to listen to Hugh Jackman? His voice is incredible!

My Chemical Romance – This Is How I Disappear 

I decided to save the best for last, my absolute all time favourite band. The one and only, My Chemical Romance. The Black Parade is a classic and not a single filler track to be found. This one is just one of many favourites from this album, and holds a special place in my heart. There are no words.
