Hello! Today’s post is a bookish tag, I found this on northernplunder’s blog and thought I’d give it a go. Please check out Lauren’s blog, it’s awesome!

What do you like about buying new books?

I love browsing the shelves, finding new hidden treasures, smelling the books, the atmosphere. I like leaving with a book I get to keep and that warm and happy feeling that comes with book shopping.

How often do you buy new books?

I have a habit of buying at least one a week, I lack serious willpower. I tell myself I’ll read it soon but we all know that never happens.

Bookstore or online book shopping – which do you prefer?

Definitely bookstore, I love getting lost in them and chatting to all the lovely booksellers. It’s a much nicer experience for me.

Do you have a favourite bookshop?

Waterstones Piccadilly, it’s my second home. They host some of the best events, have a brilliant YA selection and lovely booksellers.

Do you pre-order books?

Rarely, I’m so nitpicky about the condition of my books so I like to pick them out myself, especially when the book has sprayed edges.

Do you have a monthly book buying limit?

Not really, it also varies depending on how many events I’m going to.

How big is your wishlist?

I don’t actually have one, only my mum buys me books and she usually sends me off to choose.

Which three books from your wishlist do you wish to own NOW?

The ones I really want to read that I don’t own are:

  1. The Miseducation of Cameron post by Emily Danforth
  2. Giant Days by Non Pratt
  3. To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before by Jenny Han

I tag:

As usual, I’m leaving it as an open tag for anyone who wants to do it.

  1. Definitely nothing better than going to the bookshop and having a browse. I’m also of the awkward where I sometimes just like browsing and not leaving with anything!
I hope you get your wishlist books soon and enjoy them! 😀
