The Secret Life Of A Book Blogger
I can’t remember who originally tagged me (sorry!) It’s taken a while to get this written up. I’ll add you as soon as I find out. Anyway, onto the questions.
How long have you been a blogger?
about a year and a half, it was a spontaneous decision and I’m still here.
At what point do you think you will stop?
I honestly don’t know, I haven’t put much thought into it. I guess it’s something you know when the time comes.
What is the best part?
Making new bookish friends, finding awesome new books I wouldn’t normally find out about and spreading the bookish love.
What is the worst part?
The cliques and political side, I know you find them everywhere but I’ve found bookish cliques to be done of the worst. Generally the bookish community is awesome!
How long does it take you to find/create pictures to use?
A couple of hours. I know this might seem like alot, once you’ve got the right lighting, props (if you’re using them) and found the perfect one from your camera roll so much time has passed. I do tend to do a couple of books at a time.
Who’s your book crush?
Sirius Black, always.
What author would you like to have on your blog?
Katie Webber, Melinda Salisbury, Hayley Barker, David Owen and Sarah J Maas!
What do you wear when you write your blog?
More often than not I’m wearing pyjamas, I rarely get dressed if I’m staying in.
How long does it take you to prepare a post?
It depends on the type of post, reviews take the longest because it’s hard to put the words together to describe it.
How do you feel about the book blogger community/culture?
99% of the time it’s a wonderful place, the other 1% is a completely different ball game. It came be quite petty and full of unnecessary drama.
What do you think one should do to have a successful blog?
There is no right or wrong way to it, everyone does it differently. Passion and love for it is the most important thing though. Just do what makes you happy and it will show.
As usual, I’m leaving it as an open tag for anyone who wants to do it.
