Hello!
Today I have a book tag, I haven’t done this one before. I found this on Sarah’s blog and thought I’d give it a go. Definitely go check out Sarah’s blog, honestly, it’s brilliant!
Q1: Best book that you’ve read so far in 2018?
I can’t choose just one. For me, Only Love Can Break Your Heart by Katherine Webber and To Kill A Kingdom by Alexandra Christo. I devoured them all and was left with the worst book hangover ever. Honestly, they’re all utterly brilliant and stunning.
Q2: Best sequel that you’ve read so far in 2018?I
Exile, definitely Exile. I finished recently, it was everything I wanted and needed. I think it was even better than it’s predecessor. These books are definitely worth reading. You can read my review of The Extinction Trials and Exile by clicking on the links.
Q3: New release that you haven’t read yet but want to?
Legendary and War Storm, hopefully I get to them soon. Been looking forward to these for ages.
Q4: Most anticipated release for the next half of 2018?
The Ocean Was Our Sky by Patrick Ness, a new Ness book is always a treat and I’m beyond excited to read this one.
Q5: Biggest disappointment in 2018?
The Hanging Girl. It picked up in the middle, after that it went downhill again. I really wanted to like it, it just wasn’t for me.
Q6: Biggest surprise in 2018?
The Electrical Venus by Julie Mayhew, I’m not the biggest historical fiction reader. I couldn’t get enough of it, it’s definitely worth reading.
Q7: Favourite new author (debut or new to you)?
R.J. Furness, I love his Orgo Runners books and he’s such a nice person, definitely check his books out!
Q8: Newest fictional crush?
Reban Don from The Extinction Trials and Lucien from ACOTAR.
Q9: Newest favourite character?
Velvet and Dawson from Floored, is it cheating if the book isn’t published yet?
Q10: A book that made you cry?
Show Stopper by Hayley Barker, the injustice and cruelty is heart breaking.
Q11: A book that made you happy?
Shadowblack by Sebastien De Castell, Reichis is hilarious!
Q12: The most beautiful book you’ve bought or received in 2018?
Definitely A Court of Frost and Starlight by Sarah J Maas. The cover is stunning and one of my absolute favourites covers.
Q13: What books do you need to read by the end of 2018?
So many, I can’t keep track any more. There’s The Beasts Heart, The Smoke Thieves, Legendary, Snowglobe and The Memory of Fire.
I tag:
I’m leaving this as an open tag so anyone who wants to can do it.
TKAK was awesome! I have Show Stopper on kindle but haven’t read it yet. Is it good?

I definitely need to move To Kill A Kingdom up in my TBR pile! I’m also so mad that Extinction Trials is not available in the US. 😦
