Synopsis from Goodreads:
This the first of many AMAZING adventures, featuring the orgo!!
In a future ice-age…
Living in Port Harmony, Fayth and her friends are among the greatest at riding orgo! But when they are forced to become Food Runners, they embark on a dangerous journey to deliver supplies to Scorr Tanta.
Will their skill at riding orgo help them succeed in their mission?
Seriously, I adored Orgo Runners. It’s got everything you could possibly want. Friendship, trouble and, of course, the adorable Orgo. I’m going to say it, R.J. Furness is an incredibly underrated author.
I’m the first book we follow friends Fayth, Megg and Ink, as they make the journey from Port Harmony to the neighbouring village of Scorr Tanta to deliver food supplies in exchange for Ink’s freedom after he was caught stealing from a market vendor. Accompanying them is a robot names Widget, a highly underrated character I love, almost as much as the adorable Orgo. I love the world building and character development, how each Orgo has their own personality that shines through. Floe is definitely my favourite, even before I read it. I won’t say anymore so I don’t spoil it for you. I can’t wait to read more, luckily I have all published books so I can dive straight in. Its well worth reading, I can’t recommend it enough.
