Book haul: part 1

I thought I would do a quick haul post as I haven’t done one for a while, or posted in a week (sorry!). I then realised I have acquired so many books since Christmas that it would be better to do it in two parts. Part two will hopefully be up early next week. I hope you enjoy!

  • Skullduggery Pleasant by Derek Landy 1-9 boxset – I got this from my mum for Christmas. I’ve been desperate to read this series for ages, I’ve decided to do a month of Landy and binge this and the Demon Road trilogy.
  • Skullduggery Pleasant: Ressurection by Derek Landy – I picked this up when I went to exchange some books I already had so that I’m ready for my Landy binge.
  • Unforgiven by Lauren Kate – Another I picked up when exchanging duplicate presents. I honestly don’t know why I didn’t buy it sooner, I loved the Fallen series and I can’t wait to read this story about Cam.
  • Charlotte Says by Alex Bell – I loved Frozen Charlotte so I was really excited when the prequel was published. My awesome mum bought it for me for Christmas. I haven’t decided if I’m going to read it now or wait for Halloween.
  • How To Stop Time by Matt Haig – I picked this up just before Christmas when we were Christmas food shopping. I’m ashamed to say I have a fair few books he’s written but haven’t actually read any of them yet, this one sounds awesome so I couldn’t resist buying it.
  • A Boy Called Christmas/ Girl Who Saved Christmas boxset by Matt Haig – I got this boxset from my mum, I’d been mentioning these for ages. I know they’re Christmassy books but I’m tempted to read these next.
  • Father Christmas and Me by Matt Haig – I picked this up at half price in the Waterstones sale so that all three are in matching hardback editions.

What books have you bought recently, or got for Christmas? Let me know in the comments!
